I don't like them! (usually)
I went this morning to have my two new crowns put on and three fillings
done. (two new and one re-do) While the doc was working he suggested I go ahead and have the old crown I had RE-treated last year for an infection replaced.(was only 7-8 years old)
When they treat an infection they have to drill a hole through the crown...which can be filled or the crown replaced. Since they are not sure how I got the infection in the first place, the specialist highly recommended I have the crown replaced. So, they took the old crown out. That was the first root canal and crown I have ever had...and the reason why I hadn't been to the dentist in years. I decided that last dentist wasn't for me.
I started taking our kids to a new dentist about 6 years ago. They go 2x a year. I don't want them to end up like their mom. I finally bit-the-bullet last year and went to my kid's dentist.
He now only treats 16yo and up, but still chooses to treat two of ours that are under 16.
My new dentist is wonderful, he really tries to put me at ease...and he knows my biggest fear is PAIN. He is sure to numb me up good!
So, I go back on April 8th for the third crown and I plan to NOT eat sticky, chewy sweets ever again! AND I plan to continue to visit my dentist yearly!

You are much braver than I am :)
Dental visits can be so stressful. It really makes all the difference in the world when you have a dentist that is compassionate and understanding.
Thank you too for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment.
