Its been a roller coaster of emotions lately from sad to happy and sad again...to Happy!
Shanon and her then BF Jadon went to see Skillet in concert on Dec. 30th at Liberty College in Virginia. During the intro to one of their fave songs...he pulled out the ring box and proposed!
At the concert after she accepted the ring:
Jadon designed the ring to include both of their birthstones:
She was totally surprised! We were still Ohio and she called us with the good news at 11pm!
Jadon had come to Scott and I to ask for our blessing over a month ago...it was hard keeping that a surprise all this time.
They have known each other for such a long time and as their friendship grew, we had a feeling that someday Jadon would be a part of our family. We are very happy for them and look forward to their up coming wedding!

Oh that is fantastic, a big Congrats to her they look so happy... that's the best when you can start out as friends!!
