Our new kitty had to go to the vet last Saturday for his first check-up. Bentley LOVED the car ride over. He had to have a check-up before he was to be declawed. So, after two shots(rabies and distemper) and blood work...lets just say it took a bowl full of food and nap to get him settled down to his own self again!
So he was scheduled for the declawing this Weds. The vet just called and said he had some mild elevations in his blood work that had to do with his liver and he wants to have his blood retested in 5 weeks...so the declawing is off till we see what happens with the blood work.
