Grateful for Techie Sons!

When we first got a computer (1990s) my dear hubby and I had to learn everything ourselves. Fortunately, when it broke we just bought a new one.

After our kids arrived into their teen years and started developing their knack for techie stuff, I was grateful for that. The next time we had PC problems, our oldest son, Seth, was able to figure it out and fix it. He got so good at it, he bought his on PC stuff and put one together. (he is now graduated with a computer BS degree and works in an IT dept)

Our oldest then taught the middle son, Joel, how to take care of a computer and Joel went on to build his own PC (with his younger brother, Simon helping to pay for it so they co-own it)

So now, Simon is the only one left home and he has taken over helping his mom and dad with the *techie problems* that occur! This am when I turned the PC on it turned off by it self. I tried to start it up again and it just continually beeped. Well now, that's not good...I wanted to check my email!
Simon heard the beeping and got up to see what he could do. He took the cover off the CPU  and giggled some pieces and turned it on and it works!

I am grateful to Seth for *passing on the information* to his brother so Simon could keep his mom and Dad's PC working!

Oh, and by the way, our only dear daughter, Shanon, is married to Seth's boss, our Son-in-law, Jadon, who is also techie savvy!

Off to read the rest of my email...
