Eating healthy...it isn't easy!

Trying to start eating healthier...I do LOVE vegies and LOVE fruit, BUT the problem is they are not always my first choice when I go to reach for something...ykwim!?

I am reading two books right now...
Leslie Sansone's "Eat Smart, Walk Strong" and Ellie Kreiger's "Small Changes, Big Results".
Things I already know: Exercise, keep a food journal, drink water...cut out sweets! Guess what these two guru's suggest...yep, how did you know...do all of the above!

So, I have my pedometer on...been walking outside almost everyday(the weather has been lovely this past week)...starting a food journal today, drinking my water(I cut out soda back in January as a NYR!)...and the sweet thing. Well, I cut out ice cream...and to curb my sweet tooth I am addicted to cherry flavored Twizzlers now! Help!!

Eating right is tough! Glad you are focusing on it :)

I battle the same issue you do but we aren't warm enough to be walking outside.

You could eat a couple sticks of licorice and then stop, it should help with the cravings.
