Happy Easter!

Made it to church and Sunday School. I finished the 23-Resurrection eggs(we added to the original 12 eggs!) with out class of 9- 3rd graders. (My lead teacher was on vacation so I filled in)

It was so cool to go through the eggs and have the kids re-tell the Easter story just by looking at the symbols in the eggs.

After church, came home to finish up my broccoli salad and made mashed potatoes.(thanks to DD who peeled the potaoes the night before!)Went to our dear friends, the Smiths for Easter dinner...it has been an Easter Tradition for several years now to go to their home.(happy they have a BIG house) There were about 19 of us> 8 adults and 11 kids. By dessert/egg hunt time, we were joined by two other families. You can see , she decorates a pretty table...

The dads hid over 170 eggs...our youngest, was told to find 20 eggs. He found them ALL! One egg had money in it, so that was a surprise to him.

Here is Diane's famous bread bunny she makes every year! She made a wonderful prime rib roast and ham...she is an awesome cook!

It was a wonderful Easter...spending time with our friends and remembering what today was all about...He IS RISEN!
