Seth's 26th Birthday and Surprise!

Seth was surprised for his birthday by a visit from his Marine brother who took leave for the month! Seth was so surprised. 

 Seth had two homemade cakes! One by Hannah...a German Chocolate cake and a Chocolate Chip Cheesecake from Shanon and Jadon.

New School Year Starts Tomorrow!

Hard to believe, but tomorrow begins our last year of home schooling. Our youngest son will be a Senior in our home school!
We are already busy with his football schedule...see photo of his first scrimmage this year:

June 16th...Happy Birthday, Joel!

 Thank you to the USO's Operation Birthday Cake for helping to get a cake to our dear Marine! They delivered it to his work with his buddies and he was so surprised! (and thanks to his friend and roomie, Nick, for being the contact for me!)

Happy 17th Birthday!

April 17th, our youngest turned 17! His good friends, Nancy and Daisy made him a surprise birthday luncheon.

   Later that evening the family had a little celebration of our own.

Happy 31 Honey!

I can't believe it has been 31 yrs since we married in Ohio and moved here! Here is to many more happy years spending our lives together. I love you so!

Super Bowl Fun

Had a fun evening last night! Our dear daughter, Shanon, and son-in-law, Jadon, had a Super Bowl Party last night and invited family and friends to come over. Dear daughter was wanting the Seahawks to win because they beat her fave team the Patriots. I wasn't sure who I was rooting for till I saw the Broncos losing, then I knew I was for the under-dog! So sorry they lost...BUT we had a great time being with family and friends. The food was yummy,(as usual, there are some GREAT cooks in TE HOUSE-Jadon's fave term)
It was fun to watch the commercials, but why is it I always like the Budweiser commercials the best! The one where they were *Welcoming Home a soldier* was my personal favorite. I got teared up a few times when they mentioned our service men and women serving (and our veterans!)...thinking of our dear son serving overseas and wishing he were here with us now. 

Fun times spent with family....always cherished memories. I only took one photo of our DD~

What is Up Tonight!

I am in a swap at Your Paper Pantry and I am busy cutting out 28 of these stamped eyeglasses tonight for a project. I should be out walking, but the temps are dropping into the 20s again tonight. I need to be ready and go as soon as my dear hubby comes home when it is a bit warmer! Tomorrow maybe?
So in the mean time I am crafting!

Hard to believe that another year has come and gone.
Today I am trying to get back to blogging ( a resolution perhaps? )...not sure why, not many folk read blogs anymore it seems. They are either on YouTube or Facebook. Is blogging becoming obsolete? 
Anyhow, going to try and get back here once a week!
I will try and post some photos and/or some *blogging*. I have some photos from Christmas to put up and will do that soon!
