Tuesday and I am off...
Up early to go to the bank, gas up the car, shop for a few things at WM and CVS.
Home for lunch, then off to the dentist to get this tooth fixed!
Praying the visit isn't too long or costly!
Then heading back to home to pick-up youngest DS and heading to Ohio. Won't be there till late, but my dear in-laws are expecting us. Looking forward to seeing them and my mom!

I called the dentist an am waiting to hear for a cancellation!

The dress
Yesterday we went and DD tried her dress on one more time and so her future MIL could also see it... DD bought her dress! She is so excited...and she looks so beautiful in it. Wish I could share a photo...but you will have to wait till August 24th. :-)

Updates, Wedding Dresses and the Dentist!
Middle DS's finger is healing nicely...he has done a great job of taking care of it!
He would make a great nurse.
DD, a few of her bridesmaids and I went on Tuesday to look at wedding dresses and narrowed it down to two! She looked so beautiful in both...and she and I are heading back today to look at a few more to be sure that those two were IT!
I had plans to go see my mom and in-laws this coming weekend for the week, but on the way home from the wedding dress shop I chipped a tooth while chewing gum! The dentist was closed by the time we got home, they are closed on Weds.. I called this am and the dentist is out tom'w. and they can't get me in till 2pm Tuesday. I asked if they got any cancellations on Monday to please put me in. One of the reasons I was heading to see my mom was the nursing home was having a care plan mtg on Weds.(they only do them every 90 days). Hoping that I can get in Monday and then I could still make it out to my mom's mtg.
God must have a reason for my delay...reading James 4:1-10 this morning in our devotionals.

Bridesmaid dresses and Emergencies...
..in one day!
Yesterday after church, DD had made an appointment to take three (of the four) of her bridesmaids to go look for their dresses. Since one of the bridesmaid has flown in from California, yesterday was the only day we could schedule.
Anyway, on the way home, we received a phone call from our 17 yo to see how much longer we were going to be. We actually were only 5 min. out. We got home and our son asked me to follow him. So we went upstairs to his room where he showed me his bandaged right index finger. He relayed the story to me that while he was cleaning his drums he was cutting a large piece of scrap cloth and the knife jabbed his finger. Thankfully he is okay, but why is it that boys cuts always seem to bleed profusely! Its did stop bleeding and he is fine. His finger is clean, Bacitracin applied and bandaged. He learned his lesson to use scissors next time(especially when my scissors were just a few feet away from him!).
So, back to bridesmaid dress shopping...it was VERY busy, thankfully we had an appt. After trying on various dresses they each found a cute dress. They are all different body types and heights...so, it will be interesting to see what they decide on. DD has to take her 4th bridesmaid this week to try and see what will be good for her.
The day went well and so glad DS didn't loose a finger.

New furry member of the Family
Meet Bentley...he is one year old...a teenager for sure...very spunky! DH found a posting at work of a women in need of someone to take their cat. The son could not care for it any longer.
So, our middle son, Joel and I went to take a look and Bentley immediately went right to Joel and snuggled up to him. So we brought him home in this borrowed carrier from our dear neighbor(Thanks, Barb.) and he did quite well on the trip home.
Immediately he went about smelling everywhere in the house. I am sure he smelled that we must have had another cat.
Bentley wants to eat all the time, at least every 2 hours! BUT he is getting better, he must have figured out that the food will be provided when he wants it.
He finally settled down and for the first week he would follow the last person up the stairs and sleep at the top of the stairs in the hallway till someone came down in the morning...which is Scott.(who feeds him first!)
He is definitely a people person...he wants to be in the room with someone and will follow you around till you settle down!
