We were very proud of our DS who competed in our homeschool group's spelling Bee and won(His first try out!) in January. He competed in the county spelling bee with 20 other middle schoolers today and did a fabulous job!
All the contestents were featured in the local newspaper...he was the first to be mentioned because he was the only homeschooler! Cool-huh!
He didn't win the bee...BUT what a wonderful experience. He was so excited..he said, "At least I wasn't the first one out!" He is still eligible to compete next year and he can't wait!
